City of Salinas (CITY) intends to construct a new public facility known as the Hebbron Family Center, located at 683 Fremont Street, Salinas, CA 93905. The project is a new approximate 7,950sf building for Hebbron Family Center with public meeting spaces, flexible multipurpose rooms, offices, kitchen, and teen lounge/activity space. Outdoor scope includes a courtyard, multi-use sports court, and entry plaza with landscape & flatwork with lighting and irrigation. Parking area improvements include re-asphalt & striping, with new landscape, lighting with ADA compliance. Add alternates include parking lot's carport shade structure with Photovoltaic system. The estimated design and construction cost for the Project is $10.2 million dollars. Each Bid shall be in accordance with the Plans and Specifications on file, submitted on the Proposal form furnished and accompanied by a certified or cashier's check or Bid Bond made payable to the City of Salinas, for an amount equal to at least ten percent (10%) of that amount of the Bid No mandatory job walk is scheduled. All questions regarding this project shall be submitted to the City of Salinas through Electronically before 2pm, Pacific Standard Time on January 12, 2024 Overall Building Construction Phase with Substantial Completion (62 weeks or 14 months) October 9th 2024 to December 17th 2025 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
