Generally, the work consists of inspecting, preparing, and painting/coating the Kern Avenue steel tower and domestic water tank including removing and disposing sediment inside the tank and cleaning and coating the inside of the tank with NSF 61 certified coating materials. Tank size is approximately 160,000 gallons and the height of the catwalk is approximately 132 feet above ground level. Lead paint is present on the outside of the structures. Bidders must be registered on the plan holders list for their bid to be considered responsive. An email request to be placed on the Plan Holders list is acceptable.
