No trades have been awarded. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: TOWN OF BLOOMFIELD REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS #1107 CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT SERVICES FOR BLOOMFIELD PUBLIC LIBRARY FACILITIES The Town of Bloomfield is soliciting proposals from qualified Construction Managers at Risk for the purpose of construction management services for a new Prosser Library and addition and renovation of McMahon Wintonbury Library. All Construction Manager firms submitting proposals must be pre-qualified as a Construction Manager at Risk (Group B) as defined in the CT DAS Contractor Classification List. Submittal requirements may be found on the Town's website, www.bloomfieldct.gov. All responses must be received by 1:00 PM on September 10, 2021 to be considered. Approval of funding in the amount of $29,255,000 for this project is scheduled for referendum in November 2021. Estimated construction budget is approximately $23.4 million. The goal of the Town is to a) demolish the existing 20,200 sq. ft. Prosser Library, and replacing it with a new facility of approximately 28,000 SF on the same parcel, housing the same occupants, plus new parking on the adjoining (former lumber yard) property with a connecting bridge/walkway over Wash Brook, and b) renovate the existing 6,023 sq.ft. P. Faith McMahon Wintonbury Library along with a new addition of approximately 2,895 sq. ft.
