Area- Basement - 56 sq. ft. (00.9%) First Floor - 1,992sq.ft. (35.5%) 8 November 2021 - Start construction 8 March 2022 - Final completion date including all Punch List work All bids must include prices to be considered for award by the Franconia Township Board of Supervisors at their option after the review of the bid amounts. Only bids submitted by contractors that have registered to bid the project will be accepted. Prospective Bidders should go PennBid. All bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond issued by a surety company licensed to conduct business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, in the amount of at least ten percent (10%) of the total price bid, made payable to or in favor of the Owner. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory performance and maintenance bond and a satisfactory payment bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price with a corporate surety approved by the Owner. Workers employed under this contract must be paid prevailing minimum wage rates subject to the provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act of August 15, 1961, P.L. 987, 43 P.S. Section 165 et seq. Bidders are advised that all applicable revisions of the Occupational Safety and Health Act (Public Law 91-596 dated December 29, 1970, latest revision) shall be strictly adhered to on this project. A Certification of Non-Collusion under the Pennsylvania Anti-Bid Rigging Act must be submitted with the proposal. Any General Contractor intending to submit a Bid for this project is required to attend. The Franconia Township Board of Supervisors reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities.
