Proposals are invited for Contract No. T100.581, which involves replacement of Piers 15 and 18, painting of existing steelwork at joint areas, and joint replacements from approximately Milepost W115.25 to W115.45 in the Borough of Carlstadt and Ridgefield, Bergen County, New Jersey and repairs to Pier E17 at Structure No. N2.01 in the City of Bayonne, Hudson County, New Jersey. The work to be performed under this Contract at Structure No. W115.36 involves replacement of waterway Piers 15 and 18 in their entirety with the exception of existing pile foundations to remain, including temporary trestles, temporary cofferdams, temporary foundations and support towers, structural jacking, new girder bearings, painting of existing weathering steel at joint locations, and various deck joint reconstruction and replacements. The work includes U.S. Coast Guard and utility company coordination, and all other work required in the successful prosecution of the Project. The work to be performed under this Contract involves Structure No. N2.01 Pier E17 repairs including pier jacketing and stone masonry rehabilitation. The work shall include the necessary traffic control, U.S. Coast Guard coordination, other agency coordination, and all other work required in the successful prosecution of the Project. All work under the Contract shall be performed and completed on or before July 30, 2027
