The owner has determined a prequalified list of construction managers. Scope of Services: Major elements of the project include: 1. A Multi-system Capital Renewal project for two sites: Wekiva High School located at 2501 Hiawassee Road, Apopka, FL 32703 and West Orange High School located at 1625 Beulah Road, Winter Garden, FL 34787. 2. Wekiva HS: Renovation of the campus heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) system, including but not limited to refurbishment or replacement of existing air distribution equipment and the building automation system, and selected equipment and piping replacements in the central energy plant (CEP). 3. West Orange HS: Renovation of the campus heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) system, including but not limited to refurbishment or replacement of existing air handling units (AHU); replacement of exhaust fans, dampers and actuators, and Building Automation System (BAS) controls; and replacement of select other HVAC system equipment as needed to comply with OCPS Design Guidelines. The campuses will remain occupied during design and construction. The estimated construction cost is $10,800,000. Target Schedule: Design/Pre-construction Services Commencement: July 2021 Construction Notice to Proceed: July 2022 Substantial Completion: July 2023
