Through this prequalification process, the Agency is seeking to retain an experienced General Contractor for the infill residential development for the site at 10 Knightsbridge Road, Brampton, which is approximately 1.61 hectares in size located within the Queen Street Corridor on the north side of Knightsbridge Road, east of Central Park Drive. The new infill residential tower development is designed to meet the CaGBC Zero Carbon Building standard and will include: - 200 units of affordable rental housing; - Mix of one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and units; - 20 storeys; - One level of underground parking connecting to the existing underground parking; and, - GeoExchange system. Mobilize on site and construction start: January 2024 Substantial completion: 2026 Provide a letter from the Respondent's current bank/financial institute addressed to the Region of Peel, attesting to the Respondent's financial capability to complete the prescribed Work with an estimated construction value of $80M excluding taxes. Provide a letter from the Respondent's Bonding or Surety Company stating that the Respondent has the capacity to obtain a standard Performance Bond and Labour and Material Payment Bond, each in the amount of 50 per cent of the Contract value, which for the purposes of this prequalification is estimated at $80M excluding taxes.
