Project involves construction of Well Station No. 5 HMO treatment facilities, building modifications, reservoir rehabilitation, garage addition, well pump replacement, and associated work. The Project Manager for this Project is David Arnott, P.E., who may be contacted at Ruekert & Mielke, Inc., W233 N2080 Ridgeview Parkway, Waukesha, WI 53188-1020, (262) 542- 5733, regarding the Project. All Work is included in a single prime contract. All Work is included in a single prime contract. Prequalification Required - Yes. Estimated Value: $2,907,000 Completion Date: 05/15/2022. Bid proposals from Minority Business Enterprises (MBE), Women Business Enterprises (WBE), and other Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) are encouraged. DBEs, including MBEs and WBEs, who are prime bidders on the project must meet the same solicitation requirements unless the contract amount is in an amount equal to or greater than the applicable fair share objectives. The project will be funded in part by a loan from the SDWLP. Any contract or contracts awarded must comply with P.L. 113-76, Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2014 (Act) that includes an "American Iron and Steel (AIS) requirement in Section 436 that requires the use of iron and steel products that are produced in the United States for projects for the construction, alteration, maintenance, or repair of facilities funded by the SDWLP. A Bidder's qualification statement must be delivered to the City of Pewaukee at least 5 days before the Bid opening date. Bids shall be accompanied by a Bond or Certified Check payable to the City of Pewaukee equal to 5 percent of the Bid. If the successful Bidder fails to execute the Contract and furnish payment and performance bonds within 15 days after the award, the Check or Bid Bond may be forfeited to the City of Pewaukee as liquidated damages. Construction time is of the essence. Completion delays are subject to liquidated damages. The City of Pewaukee reserves the right to accept the most advantageous Bid, or to reject any and all Bids. Award of Work described herein is subject to the provisions of the Wisconsin Statutes.
