The Project consists of traffic control, demolition of the existing roadway, installing approximately 1400 feet of 18" and approximately 170 feet of 12" sewer lines, 9 manholes, demolishing an existing lift station, constructing a new lift station with SCADA controls and generator, and reconstruction of asphalt roadway. The pumps and generator will be pre-purchased by the Owner and installed by the Contractor. Each Bid must be submitted in the prescribed manner and accompanied by a corporate bid bond executed on the prescribed form, payable to the City of Rigby in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount bid. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish Performance and Payment Bonds each in the amount of not less than 100% of the contract price. Bidder is not required to meet Davis-Bacon wage or American Iron and Steel requirements for this project. Each Bidder must have a Public Works Contractors license in the State of Idaho prior to bid opening in accordance with Idaho law. The City of Rigby reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, waive any nonmaterial irregularities in the Bids received, and to accept the proposal deemed most advantageous to the best interest of the City of Rigby. All communications relative to this work shall be directed to the ENGINEER (Marvin Fielding, Keller Associates, 208-520-1258, mfielding@kellerassociates.com) prior to the opening of the Bids.
