Location: 1785 Crosstown Blvd NW. City of Andover, Anoka County, Minnesota. Project Description: The project will consist of reclaiming the existing bituminous driveways and parking areas, salvaging excess reclaimed material, removal of existing driveway access onto Crosstown Boulevard, and construction of new access to Public Works main driveway, concrete curb and gutter construction, storm sewer improvments, paving a new bituminous roadway surface, and restoration. Soil disturbing activities will include: reclamation of the existing bituminous roadway; common excavation for driveway removal and associated grading; utility construction; driveway and parking area replacement; and turf restoration. Site Area: The total area of the project within the project boundary is approximately 2 acres. Disturbed area is approximately 0.5 acres. 0.9 acres of existing impervious. 0.88 acres of proposed impervious. 0.02 acres of decreased impervious area. Name of Receiving Waters: Runoff is conveyed via overland flow, curb and gutter, storm sewer, culverts and ditches. These conveyance systems discharge into existing landlocked ponding areas on-site and west of the project limits near the outdoor hockey rinks. Refer to the attached drainage flow path schematic diagrams for specific runoff areas and directions. This area is ultimately landlocked. Construction Dates: Construction is scheduled to begin September 14, 2020 and be completed by October 30, 2020
