Provide all labor, materials and equipment required to complete all the Work under a single, lump sum contract for Olympic Stadium Repairs and Improvements, located at 101 28th Street, Hoquiam, WA, as shown on the Drawings and described in the Project Manual. Items of the base bid Work include, but are not limited to: Demolition of existing offices and concession spaces under the west grandstand section. Demolition of existing canopy roof outside stadium main entrance and construction of new replacement structure. Replace existing automatic fire sprinkler system under all the grandstand seating. Repair and/or replace the deteriorated endwall at the east end of the grandstand. A bid security, in the form of a certified check, bank cashier's check or bid bond is required with each Bid in an amount equal to five percent of the Base Bid, plus Additive Alternates, if any. Bidding Documents for the Work are those prepared by the Architect: HARBOR ARCHITECTS LLC 345 W Wishkah Aberdeen, Washington 98520 (360) 532-0980 Contractor shall secure, include costs therefore in the Bid, and pay for bonds issued by a bonding company with a Best's rating of "A", or better, and licensed to transact business in the State of Washington in Statutory Form. Liability under each of the bonds shall be 100 percent of the contract sum, including state sales tax, for: 1. Performance. 2. Labor and Material Payment. 3. One-year maintenance for correction of defective work. WA State Prevailing Wage Rates: Shall apply. Liquidated Damages will not be assessed for any days for which an extension of time is granted. No deduction or payment of Liquidated Damages will, in any degree, release the Contractor from further obligations and liabilities to complete the entire Contract. The Owner reserves the right to reject or accept any or all bids and to waive informalities
