Vendors having questions regarding the project must submit them in writing to the Project Coordinator. Questions must be received no later than 14 calendar days prior to the bid closing date. Addenda and/or bid clarifications (if required) will be issued no later than 7 calendar days prior to the bid closing date. Base Bid work consists of renovating and expanding existing 2-story Building G to provide a renovated girls PE room, new girls athletic locker room, and weight training room. A new 2-story building is to be constructed adjacent to Building G as part of the girls athletic facility expansion work. Various existing site and building structures are to be demolished including a restroom building and bleachers. Additive Alternate No. 1 work involves construction of a new concession building. Additive Alternate No. 2 work involves the construction of a steel trellis with polycarbonate panels. Additive Alternate No. 3 work consists of installing a roof-mounted solar thermal array. The estimated cost is between $5,000,000 and $25,000,000. Contract Duration: 626 Calendar Days. Contractor License Requirement: B Renovate and expand the existing Building G to accommodate a renovated girls physical education (PE) room and a new girls athletic locker room with an upstairs weight training room. A new multi-story building is also to be constructed behind the existing Building G. Demolish existing restroom building, bleachers, and other various site and building structures. Three additive alternates: Add Alt #1: Construct CMU/concrete building for Concessions, an ice room, and storage; Add Alt #2: Construct steel trellis with polycarbonate panels; Add Alt #3: Construct solar thermal array on roof addition
