*This project timeline has been extended due to the public health crisis. This Project was originally Scheduled on bid 5/12/2020. Now Bid date changed from 5/17/2020. The Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority (RTAA) has issued this Invitation to Bid (ITB) with the sole purpose and intent of obtaining sealed bids (Bid) from qualified contractors (Contractor) per NRS 338.1382 interested in furnishing and installing Airport Electric Ground Support Equipment (eGSE) Charging Stations at the Reno-Tahoe International Airport (RNO). The project (Project) comprises of furnishing and installing 20 dual-port eGSE charging stations, each with two (2) post-mounted cable management (one per vehicle), real-time charger and battery monitor, maintenance and management systems, and protection bollards at select locations on the B and C Concourses at RNO. Included scope is the addition of electrical distribution, new branch circuiting to power the new charging stations, and all trenching, backfill, patching, conduits, conductors, junction boxes, and removals and relocations of existing utilities as required for a complete install. Additionally, data gateway system testing, commissioning, and equipment training must be provided as well as short circuit and arc-flash studies.
