Estimated Value:$200,000 - $260,000 The Contract work will include, but not necessarily be limited to, ADA improvements along Hummel Avenue. A certified check or bid bond for the amount of 10 percent of the total bid shall be required. Bonds are to be issued by a surety licensed to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Only those questions submitted online shall be considered. Questions received after 4:00 PM on Thursday, March 19, 2020 regarding the project will not be acknowledged. Notice is hereby given to bidders that this project is funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and is subject to provisions of: o the Davis-Bacon Act of March 3, 1931, as amended, and wages must be paid by contractors according to the U.S. Labor Department's Wage Decision included in the specifications; o provisions of Section 3 of the Housing Act of 1968; o the President's Executive Order 11246 or any other order which prohibits discrimination in employment. This contract is subject to the following: Federal Davis-Bacon Wage Act conditions; the Federal Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970 (OSHA) conditions; the Pennsylvania Act 229 of 2002; the Pennsylvania One Call Act, also known as the Underground Utility Line Protection Law, Act 287 of 1974, as amended; the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act 222 Conditions; requirement of non-collusion affidavit; and the non-discrimination in Employment/Contract Regulations Conditions. Lemoyne Borough reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids.
