Estimated Project Value: $450,000-$500,000. Each Proposal shall be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty as specified in the Instructions to Bidders section of the Bid Document.A Performance Bond and Labor and Materials Bond in the amount of 100% are required. Also, a Maintenance Bond in the amount of 25% is required.Scope of Work The work includes, but is not limited to, selective demolition; selective window replacement, including associated trim and finish work (painting, carpentry, etc); new wall infill with stucco finish at select window openings; first floor lighting upgrade to LED, including lamp retrofit, luminaire replacement, and daylighting controls; boiler and chiller replacement with associated appurtenances; and upgrade of HVAC controls to fully integrate with the existing Carrier Building Automation System, including control retrofit / replacement at existing VAVs and RTUs.Award by the Board of Commissioners is anticipated in February 2020 with construction planned to begin April 2020 contingent on award and contract execution. Detailed specifications developed by the Pennoni Associates, Inc and McGuffin Associates, LLC. Questions regarding the project scope shall be submitted.The last day for receipt of written questions is end of business day of Friday, January 3, 2020.This project is supported, in part, through a grant with the Office of Commonwealth Libraries, Department of Education, with funds provided from the Keystone Recreation, Park and Conservation Fund.
