The scope of work for this project includes furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, services, utility coordination and transportation required for constructing a series of gabion groyne structures, bank excavation and all related improvements in the Dewey area of Yavapai County; all in accordance with the plans, specifications and contract documents. Any questions or concerns about the project should be submitted in writing a minimum of 72 hours prior to the bid opening and will be answered electronically. All bids shall be submitted in strict accordance with the INSTRUCTIONS FOR BIDDING included on the portal and submitted on the documents provided therein. Each bid shall be submitted, either by hand, U.S. Postal Service, or other carrier to the Yavapai County Flood Control District Board of Directors, 1015 Fair Street, Room 310, Prescott, Arizona 86305. The District will not be responsible for bids submitted that are not marked appropriately and/or sent to the wrong address. The outer mailing envelope will not be considered as Envelope One or Envelope Two. Bidders are invited to be present at the opening of bids, but absence will not be considered cause for disqualification. Bidders shall be responsible for any licenses or permits required by any regulatory agency that apply to the performance of this contract. The Board of Directors of the Yavapai County Flood Control District reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive formalities, and to accept the bid deemed to be in the best interest of the Yavapai County Flood Control District.
