Board of County Commissioners of Yellowstone County, Montana is currently soliciting Request for Proposals from interested contractors for Design, labor, materials and all necessary equipment to complete Administrative Offices, Yellowstone County Detention Facility, 3165 King Avenue East. The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all proposals received, to waive informalities, to evaluate the proposals submitted and to accept the proposal that best serves the interests of Yellowstone County. The Yellowstone County Board of County Commissioners requires services from a qualified General Contractor/Construction Manager firm to design and build an Administrative Offices addition to the Yellowstone County Detention Facility, 3165 King Avenue East, Billings, MT. It is the Owners desire to engage a qualified firm following the general guidelines for the construction of the above named project, within the established budgets. The Preliminary Project Scope of Services for the Design/Build project are: a. All design prime and general contractor responsibilities, permitting, maintaining budgets, schedules and reporting on a regular basis. b. Quality of design, construction and execution is paramount c. Single story masonry addition of 2 exterior walls to existing building d. Addition of secure door to main lobby in existing wall e. Approximately 32 ft x 32 ft f. Minimum of 4 interior offices and storage/file/copy area g. window in each office h. Connection to water and sewer services i. Connection to natural gas line j. Connection to Electric service k. Walls and ceiling insulated I. Interior finishes The preliminary budget for design and construction is $300,000.00 with a completion date on or before February 2020 The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.Request for proposals for Design/Build services is underway.
