The City of Cincinnati through its Department of Sewers (the City), as the sole management agency for the operation and maintenance of the sewer system on behalf of the Metropolitan Sewer District of Greater Cincinnati (MSD), under that certain agreement between the City and the Board of County Commissioners of Hamilton County, Ohio, is establishing a file with qualifications from professional surveying firms, as permitted by ORC 153.68, for: As-Needed Professional Surveying Services This includes, but is not limited to, the following detailed surveying services tasks and requires KSAs (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities): Topographical Surveying Boundary/Property Surveying Easement Surveying and plat preparation Preliminary Surveying Construction Surveying As-Built Surveying Investigative Surveying Flood Elevation Certificate Surveying Contact msd.procurement@cincinnati-oh.gov with written questions concerning this notice. The City will use this file to select qualified firms for professional surveying services required for MSD projects if the estimated design fee will be less than $50,000 as permitted under ORC 153.71. Deadline for questions is May 28, 2019. Statements of Qualifications shall include: 1. Information about the firm's history; 2. Education, technical training, and experience of owners and key personnel 3. Description of the firm's equipment and facilities; 4. Past performance of the firm on other projects requiring related skills. The firm shall list up to three projects requiring related skills performed by the firm in the last five years. The following information should be included for each project: a. Project owner, name of project and location; b. Brief description of the project; c. Year completed or anticipated completion date; d. Overall cost of services; e. Other relevant information about the project and the firm's services; f. Reference contact person and phone number; 5. The firm's past experience with MSD, if any. The format of the SOQ must be as outlined above. Narrative pages are to be 8-1/2 inches by 11 inches. All information provided shall be in a single volume PDF. A clear and concise presentation of information is encouraged with a maximum page limit of 15 single-sided pages, not including cover pages and resumes.
