As of February 28, 2019, all bids have been received. All trades have been let. Royal Oak Schools reserves the right to award contracts for the project separately or combined. The Owner is not liable for any delivery or postal delays. The Board of Education will not consider, accept or open a Bid received after the Due Date and time specified for Bid submission. All Bids received after the Due Date will be unopened and made available to the respective Bidder for pick-up, at their sole cost and expense for a period of two (2) weeks. This Project will consist of separate sealed Bids for the following Bid Divisions of work, for each of the projects Bidding Documents prepared by TMP Architecture will be available for public inspection at the office of the Construction Manager, McCarthy & Smith, Inc., 24317 Indoplex Circle, Farmington Hills, MI 48335 All Bids should include 2 copies (1 original, 1 copy) of the Bid Pricing Form (Section 00 41 26), Bid Execution Form (Section 00 42 00), Familial Disclosure (Section 00 42 05) and the Iran Economics Sanctions Act Affidavit (Section 00 42 10. Each Bid must be accompanied by a sworn and notarized statement disclosing any familial relationship that exists between the owner or any employee of the Bidder and any member of the Board of Education or the Superintendent of Royal Oak Schools. The Board of Education will not accept a Bid that does not include this sworn and notarized disclosure statement. Each Bid must be accompanied by a sworn and notarized statement certifying that the Bidder is compliant with the Iran Economics Sanctions Act. The Board of Education will not accept a Bid that does not include this sworn and notarized statement. The School District is secured from loss or damage by reason of the withdrawal of the Bid or failure of the Bidder to enter a Contract for performance, Further, the Bidder will execute the Contract, provide the required insurance certificate(s) and file the required bonds within ten (10) days after notice of award of Contract but prior to Work commencing. The contents of RFP and Bidder's (also referred to as Contractor in these documents) Proposal will become contractual obligations, if a contract ensues. Failure of the Bidder to accept these obligations will result in cancellation of the award. Award of a contract by the District is subject to the Contractor executing a Contract, which shall incorporate the contents of this RFP and the Contractor's Proposal and final approval if the same by the District's legal counsel. Royal Oak School's Board of Education reserves the right to accept or reject any and all Bids, either in whole or in part, to waive any informalities or irregularities therein, or to award the contract to other than the Bidder(s) submitting the best financial Bid (low bidder), in its sole and absolute discretion. This Project is authorized by Royal Oak School's Board of Education and Administration.
