As of August 9, 2023, site plans and re-zoning plans have been approved. This project is included in the city's 2023-2027 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). The City of Mesa is seeking a qualified consulting firm or team to provide complete design services for the programming, schematic design, construction documents, and potential construction services for the above referenced facility The project consists of providing programming documents, schematic drawings (including presentation boards and renderings), construction documents, and potential construction services for a new public safety facility in the vicinity of the intersection of North Power Road and East Brown Road in Mesa, Arizona. This public safety facility will house both Mesa Fire and Medical Department and Police Department operations. The goal of this project is to provide an efficient use of the facility for shared use of common spaces as well as separate Fire and Police department functions. A consultant with successful experience in creating shared use spaces and coordinating between multiple users is desirable. The City of Mesa reserves the right to reject any or all Statements of Qualifications, to waive any informality or irregularity in any Statement of Qualifications received, and to be the sole judge of the merits of the respective Statements of Qualifications received.
