The Elverson STP currently uses two (2) Influent EQ Tank pumps to convey raw wastewater to two (2) Process Tanks where three (3) Aeration Blowers supply the air needed for treatment. One (1) Influent EQ Tank blower provides air to the Influent EQ Tank and two (2) SHT Blowers provide air to the Sludge Holding Tanks (SHT). The pumps and blowers are operated in a constant speed fashion which limits operational control. An existing Control Panel located in the Electrical Room of the Blower Building provides operator interface. Excessive heat in the Blower Building has effected the existing Control Panel and wiring to each blower. Questions must be submitted on or before 10/16/2018 5:00 PM Only bonds from companies licensed to do business in the State where the Owner is located will be accepted and the bond shall so state same. Bids must be submitted unconditionally. No bidder may withdraw his/her bid within SIXTY (60) days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry Prevailing Wage rates apply to this project.
