The Work consists of installation of a 20.2 acre-foot StormTrap detention facility comprised of approximately 2,250 pieces and panels, storm sewer ranging in size from 12" diameter to 60" diameter PVC and RCP pipe, 3'x7' and 5'-6' RCP rectangular box storm sewer, trench backfill, sanitary service reconnections, water service reconnections, installation of 8" water main, manholes, catch basins, inlets, resurfacing of existing pavement, spot curb removal and replacement, pavement reconstruction with full curb and gutter removal and replacement, sidewalk removal and replacement and ADA upgrades in the Village of Wilmette, Cook County, Illinois. Last Date/Time for Questions 01/30/2020 2:00 pm local time Location of Work The project is located on Wilshire Dr. West immediately west of Wilshire Dr., Wilshire Dr. from Wilshire Dr. West to Wilmette Ave., Wilmette Ave. from Wilshire Dr. to W. Meadow Dr., W. Meadow Dr. from Wilmette Ave. to N. Meadow Dr., Hunter Rd. from Illinois Rd. to Birchwood Ave., Washington Ave. from Hunter Rd. to Pinecrest Ln, at Hillcrest Middle School, and at the Community Park in Wilmette, Cook County, Illinois. The gross and net length of the project is 5,665 feet (1.07 miles). Any questions related to this RFB should be submitted in writing to Cliff Ruemmler, Purchasing Manager, at Purchase@wilmette.com. Questions received by the Village, including the Villages responses will be consolidated and posted to the Village website. The deadline for submitting questions is 2:00 pm central time 01/30/2020. Contractors will provide written acknowledgment of each addendum issued with their bid submission. Oral explanations will not be binding. No clarifications, interpretations or addenda shall be issued after 2:00 pm local time on 02/06/2020.
