This Contract provides for the improvement of Joe Leary Slough Bridge #40029 at Bay View Edison Road. The work includes, but is not limited to scarifying the concrete bridge deck, repairing bridge deck surface; furnishing, placing, finishing and curing modified concrete overlay; repaving asphalt approaches; drainage repair, maintenance of the gabion baskets under the bridge; traffic control; and other work, all in accordance with the attached Contract Plans, these Contract Provisions, and the Standard Specifications. The Disadvantage Business Enterprise (DBE) mandatory goal of 14 percent (fourteen %) accompanied by a surety company bid bond, or a certified or cashier's check pay. able to the order of Skagit County for a sum not less than five per- cent (5%) of the total amount of the bid. A Contract Bond covering performance and payment will be required with the contract.
