Question Deadline 10/13/2023 at 2:00 PM CT Final Submittal Late April 2024 The county reserves the right to waive any minor irregularities. o The county reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. o The county reserves the right to request additional information or clarifications from consultants. o The county reserves the right to interview any, all, or none of the consultants. o The county reserves the right to enter into a contract with more than one consultant. o If the RFP process concludes by withdrawal, cancellation or rejection of all proposals, the county reserves the right to issue another RFP for this service. o The county shall not be liable for any expenses incurred by the consultant including but not limited to expenses associated with the preparation and submission of the proposal. Restroom facility upgrade - the Hilltop restroom facility ideally would become an all year round facility to accommodate winter usage, programming, & events. A spectrum of improvements to be considered range from renovations to prefabricated replacement to replacement at new location within Hilltop area. o Connection to existing modern campground septic system - consideration with restroom facility upgrade task if sub-task stakeholders are on board (Washington County Public Health and Public Works) and budget allows Playground - current play equipment is aging. Feedback received from park users indicates that the current equipment is geared towards younger children and would like to see a wider range of children accommodated. Consider different target demographic within current container. o It is noted that the County would prefer to use a playground Contractor currently listed on the state contract for playground equipment and installation Hilltop Shelter - o Feedback received from shelter users indicate that the existing shelter could benefit from minor amenity upgrades including, but not limited to, additional lighting, a serving counter, additional electrical outlets, and additional utilities in the existing kitchen. o A 2017 study found the shelter's roof to be satisfactory. Parks staff believe that reevaluation may be warranted Tennis court resurfacing and/or restriping for multi-use - Feedback received from park users indicate the tennis court's condition warrants resurfacing. Additionally, if possible, Parks Staff would like to consider restriping the new paved surface to potentially accommodate pickleball in addition to tennis.
