Description of work: the work includes the construction of approximately: remove concrete pavement 9,900 sqyd rcp sewer pipe 3,100 lin ft remove bituminous pavement 9,600 sqyd construct drainage structure 500 lin ft remove concrete sidewalk 48,100 sqft pvc sewer pipe (8-15) 2,600 un ft common excavation 17,300 cuyd lift station 1 lump sum aggregate base (cv) class 5 5,500 cuyd pedestrian flasher system 4 each type sp 12.5 &. 9.5 bituminous 6,700 ton revise traffic signal system 1 each streets concrete walk 35,700 sqft lighting unit 50 each concrete curb & gutter 11,000 lin ft dip watermain (6-18) 3,400 lin ft 8x4 concrete box cuvert 2036 lin ft construct sanitary mh 170 un ft design special together with numerous related items of work, all in accordance with plans and specifications. All bids shall be made on the proposal forms of the city and shall be accompanied by a cashiers check, bid bond or certified check, payable to the city of richfield for five percent of the amount of bid to be forfeited as liquidated damages in the event that the bid is accepted, and the bidder shall fail to enter promptly into a written contract and furnish the required bond. This Work shall be subject to minimum wages and labor standards in accordance with Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry Prevailing Wages. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids. The City Council of Richfield reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities. Contractor must start construction operations on May 1, 2022 Completion- November 15, 2024.
