This project consists of 8,800 square foot bridge pier leading to the mouth of the Missouri River. The project is located in Council Bluffs, IA and includes drilled pier foundations, auger cast foundations, earthwork, landscaping, structural steel, concrete foundations and flatwork, thermally modified wood planking, porcelain pavers, plantings, irrigation, painting, and plumbing, Please note the specifications are inclusive of scopes that are part of the North development. Some sections may not apply to the South Pier and may be ignored. NOTE THAT STRUCTURAL STEEL AND DEEP FOUNDATIONS HAVE BEEN AWARDED AS PART OF A PRIOR BID PACKAGE. NO STRUCTURAL STEEL OR DEEP FOUNDATION PROPOSALS WILL BE CONSIDERED. ELECTRICAL WILL BE ISSUED AS PART OF A LATER BID PACKAGE. The project is taxable and sales tax shall be included as part of the proposal. Lueder Construction requests bidders provide a breakout of the sales tax included in your proposal. Lueder Construction, on behalf of the Owner, requests voluntary alternates to present to the Owner. Proposed voluntary alternates will not be shared among other bidders.
