Reference Number 0000278885 Question Acceptance Deadline 2024/10/02 12:00:00 PM NDT Roof Shingle Replacement, Black Duck Brook, and Barachois Brook The ten percent tender bid security (10%), if submitted in the form of a Certified Cheque by the successful bidder will be retained as a performance security for the duration of a contract. No other performance security will be required. Upon satisfactory completion of the Work the performance security, with interest, will be returned to the Contractor. Owner's rights respecting the performance security shall be in addition to, and not in substitution for or limitation of, any other right Owner may have for default of the Contractor. A Performance Bond will also be accepted in the amount of fifty percent (50%) of the contract price. The Performance Security is to be received not later than two (2) weeks after the award of the contract by the letter of intent and prior to the formal execution of the agreement. No work is to be undertaken until the Performance Security has been received. Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform.
