The Utah Communications Authority ("UCA") This courtesy posting is an advertisement of a procurement opportunity for The Utah Communications Authority ("UCA"), not the Division of Purchasing. Responses should be directed to the designated individual/office as designated in the solicitation document. The contract award for this solicitation will not be posted on this website. Instead, you will need to contact the designated individual/office as identified in the solicitation document. This solicitation posting will be canceled/closed upon the closing date of this solicitation; however, a vendor's response will still be evaluated by The Utah Communications Authority ("UCA") as described in the solicitation document. The Division of Purchasing is neither the issuing or conducting procurement unit for this solicitation, as such it is the vendor's responsibility to review the entire solicitation in order to comply with any requirements. Q&A due by: 9/25/24 at 3PM MT via Electronically. as part of UCA's Notch Peak agreement with the Bureau Land Management (BLM), UCA needs to paint the equipment shelter, generator shelter, and propane tank (the "Project"). This is a BLM specific color that they have requested. The Notch Peak Site is located in Millard County located 60 miles west of the city of Filmore, more specifically at 3911'16.30"N -11324'34.31"W. The equipment shelter, generator shelter, and propane tank (See Exhibit A) must be painted "Shadow Gray" as specifically required by the BLM. Vendors to list procedures and specific products they will be using for painting, as well as the preparation for painting galvanized surfaces and non-galvanized surfaces. This includes cleaning, priming masking etc. Items to be painted include: o New 1000-gallon propane tank. o Used, 15-year-old 24' X 12' X app 9' prefabricated equipment shelter with stone aggregate exterior. o All elements EXCEPT THE ITEMS LISTED BELOW to be painted, this includes two large wall mounted HVAC units, PVC and steel conduits, junction boxes etc. Gree exterior mounted HVAC mini split. Exterior ground bus bar. Coaxial cables entering shelter. Roof. o New 9' X 12' X 9'2" Enviro brand modular generator shelter, painted steel exterior with stainless steel ductwork. o All galvanized steel on ductwork, trim etc. must be properly cleaned, etched and primed with non-oil based primer prior to painting. o All steel and PVC conduits and junction boxes to be painted. o Do not paint roof. Work to be professional and clean with no overspray or dripping on surfaces that are not intended to be painted, including concrete pads, tower parts or natural terrain. Vendor to warranty paint job on all surfaces for two years after completion. In the event the paint comes off within the first two years, vendor to return to site to repair or touch up failed areas at no charge. 2. The work must be completed by October 11, 2024.
