Request for Proposal The Greenfield Fire District is seeking proposals for snow plowing parking lots and snow removal from sidewalks and building entrances at the following locations: District Office/Greenfield Center Firehouse: 13 South Greenfield Rd, Greenfield Center, NY 12833 Porters Corners Firehouse/Training Building: 405 Bockes Rd. Porters Corners, NY 12859 Middle Grove Firehouse/Garage: 25 North Creek Rd. Middle Grove, NY 12850 Maple Ave Firehouse: 613 Maple Ave, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866 Plowing is to be done after every three inches of snowfall or cleaned to the blacktop for a lesser amount. All sidewalks and entrances will be cleaned after every three inches of snowfall or cleaned to the original surface for a lesser amount. For larger storms, snow needs to be cleaned after each additional three inches of snow. All apparatus bay doors and generators must be completely clear of snow, as well as water tank standpipes located at the Greenfield Center, Porter Corners and Middle Grove firehouses. Snow banks need to be pushed back to maintain sight distance. Any landscaping damaged must be repaired when the season ends. A certificate of insurance will be required, including worker's compensation.
