The City of Victoria is prequalifying Contractors to provide services to complete a rehabilitation of 100 metres of the historical clay brick, stone, and concrete retaining wall located at 1112 Wharf Street. Optional associated work includes structural upgrades and infilling of the 45 metres of tunnel space beneath the sidewalk adjacent to the wall with expanded polystyrene fill. Work is to be undertaken using appropriate heritage conservation and period masonry techniques as outlined in the supplemental technical specifications.
