Project Number: 512-16-049 This project will improve the pedestrian and bicycle facilities on Sunset Road from Day Lilly Lane to Beatties Ford Road. Project length is approximately 2.12 miles. The work includes construction of concrete sidewalk, curb & gutter, curb ramps and driveways, drainage, grading, erosion control, traffic control, asphalt pavement, pavement markings and water & sanitary sewer improvements. A 5% bid security is required with each bid that equals or exceeds $100,000. The estimated cost of this Project is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. Question Deadline 10/15/2024 - Please submit questions or inquiries at least seven (7) calendar days before the Bid Due Date. Questions or inquiries past this deadline may not be addressed by the City prior to the Bid Due Date. Questions or inquiries should be submitted in writing through the Vendor Discussions section of the Procurement Portal The City of Charlotte reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities or technicalities as it may deem to be in its best interest.
