SCOPE OF WORK - The purpose of this project is for the creation of a passive recreation park, which is located along North Main Street adjacent to the Nansemond River in the City of Suffolk, Virginia. There are three phases to this project. Phase I of this project involves the establishment of approximately 470 linear feet of living shoreline along the Nansemond River and the installation of stormwater drainage improvements. Phase II is a park to include picnic shelters, benches, walkways and permeable parking. Phase III is construction of an elevated walkway for fishing, crabbing, and nature observation.
