Recycling Services for Electronic Equipment. The University reserves the right to request financial data that would adequately reflect financial stability to support the execution of a Contract. Such information could include a credit report, the most recent two audited annual reports and/or annual financial statements. The University reserves the right to reject any Bidder/Contractor who does not demonstrate stability sufficient for the scope of this transaction. The State University of New York at Buffalo, hereafter referred to as the "the University" is submitting this Request for Proposal ("RFP") for the recycling services for electronic equipment for all the University's locations on the North, South and Downtown campuses, as well as any other University-affiliated building. The resulting contract for Recycling Services for Electronic Equipment will include the secure disposal of electronic information. The Department of Environment Health and Safety Services (EHS) at the University monitors and promotes health, safety and protection of the environment at all campus facilities. EHS is requesting proposals for the transportation and recycling of old/unwanted electronic equipment, to include but not limited to CPUs, hard drives, printers, copiers, fax machines, laboratory equipment, general networking hardware, servers/storage, and medical/industrial, monitors (CRT/TV's and flat screen LED/LCD), laptops, keyboards, mice, miscellaneous Audio/Video equipment, wire and cables, telephone equipment, etc. Upon request of the University, hard drives may require the Department of Defense (DoD) destruction method. Contract term: Five (5) Years Location: North South and Downtown Campuses DESIGNATED CAMPUS CONTACTS: These are the only persons that bidders may speak to until the award of this bid.
