The current roof is in disrepair causing leaking throughout the facility. In addition the roof has "waffled" preventing the retractable roof from operating properly. Without a full replacement additional facility damages will occur. The 4 current PDU units have reached their period of effectiveness. Over the past 6 years the maintenance costs and repairs to the units have greatly impacted operating budgets and have exceed the anticipated costs. These units work in conjunction with the pool water heating and cooling to efficiently maintain both at the optimal temperture. Funding has been allocated previously for planning and cost estimate has been obtained. As of September 24, 2024, this project is included in the county's 2025-2030 Capital Improvement Program (CIP) *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change. The content management team will continue to pursue additional details as they become available.
