Prairie Center for the Arts Outdoor Stage Remodel The Village of Schaumburg's Prairie Center for the Arts is located at 201 Schaumburg Court, next to the Atcher Municipal Center, and is home to an indoor and outdoor performing arts theatre and stage. The exterior stage as originally constructed is an open roof pergola-like structure that is constructed of masonry and steel with cementitious decorative wraps that are failing. This project is intended to remove all the failing material, add structure as necessary for a full standing seam metal roof, and recover all existing and new structure with a more durable product. This project requires full completion of all work by May 15, 2025 for scheduled events to take place the following week. The Bidder shall supply all required supervision, skilled labor, transportation, new materials, apparatus, and tools necessary for the entire and proper completion of the work. The Bidder shall supply, maintain, and remove all equipment for the performance of the work and be responsible for the safe, proper, and lawful construction, maintenance, and use of the same. This work shall be completed to the satisfaction of the Village. The Bidder shall provide adequate protection of the job site to protect the general public from any injury as a result of the job. The Bidder shall provide all safeguards and suitable barricades to protect public and adjacent property. The Village is not responsible for site safety. The Bidder is solely and exclusively responsible for construction means, methods, technologies, and site safety. The successful Bidder and their subcontractor(s) must be licensed with the Village and shall obtain all required building permits prior to the start of any work. The Village will waive applicable Village permit fees for the specific contract. Permit application forms may be obtained from the Community Development Department and license application forms may be obtained from the Finance Department.
