This project includes all material, equipment, connections, hardware, tools and installation instructions to replace the existing animal kennels at the South Salt Lake Animal Shelter. Materials will be received on-site and installation will be done by owner. Bids shall reflect the attached Scope of Work and Kennel Layout Drawing. The City reserves the right to reject all bids and rebid the project, or to waive any informality or technicality in any bid if deemed to be in the best interest of the owner and/or make reductions in or expand the scope of work. Please direct all scope of work questions to our City Recorder's office at aandrus@sslc.gov. PROJECT DESCRIPTION 1. Submit documentation for all products to be used (walls, doors, panels, covers, hardware) for review at time of bid. 2. 16 kennels positioned back to back at 8 locations as shown on the attached plan. 3. 4 single kennels as shown on the attached plan. 4. 3 double deck kennels as shown on the attached plan. 5. Material for kennels: o Side panels to be constructed of plastic, HDPE, FRP, PVC or other non-metallic solid panel for lower 4' of panel. o Top of side panels to be 2' of stainless steel mesh o Top of kennels to be stainless steel mesh o Back to back kennels to have transfer door between kennels and constructed of same non-metallic material as side panels. o Transfer door to be guillotine type door o Fronts of kennels and doors to be glass. o Door to swing both ways o Hardware for single hand use o Side panels, covers, and doors to be constructed with stainless steel members. Attachments and construction shall be as per vendors specifications. 6. Kennels to have raised resting beds. 7. Kennels to be installed on existing concrete floor. o Provide all materials, wall and floor connectors and full instructions for installation. 8. Installation to be done by owner.
