The work consists of furnishing all labor, material, and equipment required for the installation of a cofferdam in the Black River Canal, including removal and delivery of existing tainter gate and lifting mechanism. A certified check payable to the City of Port Huron, or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the bidder and a surety company, in the amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid, shall be submitted with each bid. No bid may be withdrawn for at least ninety (90) days after the scheduled closing time for receiving bids. All bids must be submitted on proposal forms provided by the City of Port Huron for that purpose. All bidders are required to qualify according to the bidder qualification regulations for contractors bidding on City of Port Huron contracts as set forth in the instruction to bidders. Contractor must comply with the City of Port Huron Uniform City Income Tax Ordinance. For questions regarding this project, please contact Brent Moore at (810) 984-9730. This work consists of furnishing, designing, installing, bracing, maintaining and removal of cofferdams, removal and proper disposal of all materials associated with this item and coordinating with the staged construction requirements for the project.
