Casey Park Boiler Replacement Project In accordance with Executive Law, Article 15-A, the City of Auburn encourages proposals from minority and women-owned business enterprises as defined under Subdivision 9 of Section 310 of said law. Questions must be received by Wednesday, October 2,2024 The scope of work shall be as outlined herein, and shall be performed in accordance with all applicable 2020 New York State Codes and Standards along with equipment and material specifications. The successful Contractor shall provide all properly sized equipment, materials, labor and incidentals to perform the following work: 1. Disassemble, remove and dispose of existing Weil McLain boiler, Lochinvar hot water heater, and A.O. Smith storage tank. Disassemble, remove and dispose of limited air supply and return piping, natural gas piping, and flue vent piping along with any other demolition necessary to complete the project. Flush system thoroughly. No ACM is visible on the piping attached to the exisiting boiler. Pictures of current boiler are attached in Attachment A. 2. Furnish and install (2) new Burnham 807H Gas Knockdown Boilers (or approved equal) to replace the existing Weil McLain unit along with 1 new Tekmar TEK261 boiler control (or approved equal), (2) new Taco TAC0012F-4 circulator pumps (or approved equal), (1) new Spirovent air eliminator VVSR300MT (or approved equal) and (1) new Amtrol AMTSX-60V expansion tank (or approved equal). Provide all supply and return piping, boiler drains, natural gas piping, outside air vent piping for combustion air intake using existing chimney, boiler flue vent piping, isolation ball valves and/or other electrical and plumbing tie-ins necessary to meet manufacturers specifications and instructions. Furnish and install (8) Navien NAVNPE-240A2 tankless water heaters (or approved equal) with recirculation valves, 30014367B dampers, (8) Isolation Purge valves, (1) new timer/control for existing circulator pump. All supply and return piping, boiler drains, natural gas piping, outside air vent piping for combustion air intake using existing chimney, boiler flue vent piping, isolation valves, and/or other electrical and plumbing tie-ins to meet manufacturers specifications and instructions.
