Northwest R-l School District- Phase 2 - Bid Package 02 - Valley Middle School, Brennan Woods Elementary, and Maple Grove Elementary Bid Package No. 2: - All work packages associated with the addition and site work at existing Valley Middle School, secure entry at the existing Brennan Woods Elementary and a wheelchair lift at the existing Maple Grove Elementary. *Schedule will be issued via Addendum #02.* The School District reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, and to waive informalities therein to determine the lowest and best bid. No Bid may be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) days subsequent to the specified time for receipt of Bids. Any offer exceeding $100,000 will be subject to a Bid Bond or Certified Check made payable to the Owner, in the amount of 5% of the Base Bid shall accompany the Bid Packages as a guarantee that the bidder, if awarded the Contract, may be asked to fumish a satisfactory Performance and Payment Bond: execute the Contract; and proceed with the work. Upon failure to do so, he shall forfeit the deposit or amount of the Bid Bond as liquidated damages, and no mistakes or errors on the part of the Bidder shali excuse the Bidder or entitle him to a return of the deposit or Bid Bond. The prevailing wage law is in effect on this project. All bidders shall conform to the State of Missouri, Division of Labor Standards. Annual Wage Order No. 31. Section 010, Jefferson County in accordance with Section 290,262 CUM. Supp. RSMo (1994). All Contractors and Subcontractors shall conform to the Excessive Unemployment Articles 290.550 through 290.580 of the Prevailing Wage Law.
