The Bristol Redevelopment and Housing Authority (BRHA) will accept sealed BIDS for the installation of fourteen (14) BRHA-supplied boilers on BRHA properties in Bristol, Virginia. The project shall consist of but not be limited to, furnishing all labor, and equipment and performing all work required for installation, and all associated work as specified in and shown in the specifications of the Invitation for Bid. Period of Contract: 60 Calendar Days. Comments or Questions Due: October 14, 2024 by 4:00 P.M. SCOPE OF SERVICES The work to be performed by the Contractor shall include, but not be limited to, the supplying of all labor, equipment, tools and any services, accessories and procedures necessary to perform under these specifications. The BRHA properties to be serviced are as specified in Exhibit "B" BRHA Site Map. 1. Removal and proper disposal per local, state and federal codes of fourteen (14) boilers in seven (7) Johnson Court buildings. 2. Proper installation, start up and verification of operation of fourteen (14) BRHA supplied Weil McLain boilers per manufacturers recommendations. 3. The Contractor is responsible for all cleanup of trash and debris resulting of removal and installation of the fourteen (14) boilers. 4. The Contractor shall protect all buildings, vehicles, furniture, equipment, personal items, trees, shrubs. Lawns and all landscaping on BRHA property from damage. Any damaged property shall be repaired or replaced at the Contractor's expense. The Contractor shall protect all work and materials from damage by his work, workmen, subcontractors' work or subcontractor's workmen. Any damage to existing utilities, equipment or finished surfaces resulting from the performance of this contract shall be repaired to BRHA's satisfaction at the Contractor's expense. 5. The Contractor is responsible for submitting Davis Bacon Certified payroll weekly beginning the week after work commences. HUD-5282 is required to be submitted prior to commencement of work. 6. The Contractor is responsible for any required permits.
