Reference Number 0000363634 The Work to be performed under the 2024 PRV Vault Improvement Project consists of furnishing all labor, materials equipment, tools, supplies to rehabilitate eleven (11) Pressure Relief Valve (PRV) Vaults. The rehabilitation needs are due to structural or access safety concerns, corroded and or inoperable assets. PRE-QUALIFICATION: Prime contractors have been pre-qualified for this Invitation to Bid. Bids shall not be accepted from firms other than those pre-qualified firms on this solicitation. This advertisement is for the sole purpose of identifying this procurement action to potential subcontractors who may wish to participate through the selected prime contractor. Question Deadline 10/09/2024 at 2:00 PM MT Questions are submitted online No, Any questions must be submitted in writing by email to John Bruneau, Project Manager, at jbruneau@auroragov.org, and to Nathan Jones, Contract Administrator at njones@auroragov.org Questions will be answered via addendum posted to online. This is a federally-assisted construction project. As described in the CDOT DBE Standard Special Provision, the Bidder shall make good faith efforts to meet the following contract goal: 10 Percent DBE participation Each Bid shall be accompanied by an appropriate guarantee in the form of a Bid Bond in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the Bid. In addition, the bid guarantee shall be accompanied in the same sealed envelope as the bid. The Contract Documents require that all work be Substantially Complete by August 1, 2025 with Final Completion by September 30, 2025. Failure to complete the work as prescribed shall be considered as a Breach of Contract and subject to Liquidated Damages which are $2,500.00 per day. The estimated cost for this project is from $3,500,000.00 to $4,000,000.00. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
