Description Additions & Renovations at Berkley High School & Cana Church This Bid Package will consist of separate sealed bids for the following Bid Divisions: 101: Earthwork & Site Utilities 102: Asphalt Paving & Site Concrete 103: Selective Demolition 104: Concrete Footings & Foundations 105: Interior Concrete Flatwork 106: Masonry 107: Steel 108: Carpentry & General Trades 109: Roofing / Sheetmetal 112: Caulking 114: Aluminum Storefront; Entrances; Glass & Glazing 115: Metal Studs/Drywall/Acoustical Treatment 116: Hard Tile 118: Resilient Flooring 120: Painting 125: Toilet Compartments & Accessories 128: Manufactured Casework & Music Storage 130: Window Treatments 133: Pool Equipment 134A: Theatre & Stage Rigging 134B: Theatre Seating 140: Plumbing 141: Fire Protection 142: HVAC 143: Electrical 149: Fencing All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security, in either the form of a bid bond or certified bank check, in the amount of five (5) percent of the amount of the Bid, payable to Berkley Schools, as a guarantee that if the Bid is accepted, the School District is secured from loss or damage by reason of the withdrawal of the Bid or failure of the Bidder to enter a Contract for performance, Further, the Bidder will execute the Contract, provide the required insurance certificate(s) and file the required bonds within ten (10) days after notice of award of Contract but prior to Work commencing. If awarded a contract, the successful bidder may be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price. Berkley Schools reserves the right to reject any or all bids received, to waive any informalities and irregularities in the bidding, and to accept a bid other than the lowest bid.
