The Project includes: the replacement of the roofing systems on the administrative building and its Additions and at pump station no. 2 located at 143 union valley road, monroe, nj, 08831. Major elements For the administrative building include replacement of membrane roof and shingle roof and replacement Of the gutter system. The major element of pump station no. 2 is replacement of the membrane roof. Bidding documents may be examined at the office of the m.T.U.D. Which is located at 143 union valley road, Monroe township, new jersey. Cash or check will be accepted from the date of Advertisement up to seven (7) calendar days prior to the date initially scheduled for receipt of bids (extension not included) and only cash, money order or certified check will be accepted for bidding Documents requested during the seven (7) calendar days prior to the initially scheduled date for Receipt of bids. Bid security must accompany each bid and shall be in the amount of 10% of the bid, but Not to exceed $20,000, and may be given at the option of the bidder by certified check, cashier's check or Bid bond. All bid guarantees shall be accompanied by an executed consent from an approved surety Company, licensed to conduct business in the state of new jersey, agreeing to furnish the required Performance and maintenance bond upon the award of contract. The accepted bidder must sign the Contract within ten (10) days after the notice of award or forfeit his bid security. Bid securities will be Returned to all but the three apparent lowest responsible bidders. All other bid securities will be Returned with three days after awarding and signing of the contract and approval of the contractor's Performance bond, saturdays, sundays, and holidays excepted. The Monroe Township Utility Department Reserves the right to reject any or all bids, as well as the right to waive all informalities in awarding a Contract. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. And N.J.A.C. 17:27-1 et seq. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
