The Municipality of East Hants ("East Hants") hereby engage the Consultant to undertake a hydrologic and hydraulic assessment of a defined study area along Paley Brook, located in Lantz, NS utilizing recent LiDAR data and modelling software. The study area will extend from the Paley Brook intercept with the culvert at Highway 102 to the culvert at Hwy 2, near Logan Drive. The purpose of the study is to map flood extents within the study area to identify flood risk zones, and identify potential solutions to mitigate flood impacts, utilizing four (4) parcels of property (PID 45247624, PID 45225299, PID 45374113, & PID 45232642) to alleviate flood risks. To this end, East Hants is seeking competitive Proposals from the marketplace to identify a Consultant to possibly provide these Services. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time
