The scope of this project includes, but is not limited to, replacement of select curtain wall systems at Montclair High School, and replacement of cafeteria curtain wall system at George Inness High School Annex. Bids must be accompanied by bid security in the form of (1) a bid bond or certified or cashiers check payable to Montclair Township Board of Education equal to 10% of the amount of the bid, but in no case to exceed $20,000.00 per N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-24, and (2) Certificate of Consent of Surety per N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-25. The successful bidder will be required to furnish additional bonds as specified in Document 00 21 13, Instructions to Bidders. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any non-responsive bids or all bids pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-22 and to waive immaterial defects or non-material exceptions, that may be in the best interest of the Board. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the opening date. The Contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder as defined in N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-2(t) and N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-18-(c), as applicable.
