The following is an outline of the scope of work for this project. Tenderers are required to review all contract documents for a complete description of the scope of work for Sault College of Applied Arts & Technology K-Wing Welding Exhaust System Upgrade. Executive Summary of the Scope of Work associated with Sault College of Applied Arts & Technology K-Wing Welding Exhaust System Upgrade as follows: a. Disconnect & remove abandoned SA/EA ductwork associated with existing Roof Mounted AHU & Cap (x2). b. Reuse (x1) roof mounted AHU to provide the required ventilation and exhaust. Revise SA/EA ductwork as required and bring it into operation. The unit will require to be air balanced to provide the required SA/EA air volumes. c. Disconnect and remove abandoned EA ductwork. Rework and reuse ductwork where possible. AHU) to feed EF1/EF 2. Replace d. Reuse abandoned electrical Branch Feeders ( existing breakers to accommodate new loads. Provide new exterior rated welding extraction exhaust system/filter bank, e. ductwork, controls, pads, mounts, silencers, electrical, supports, painted ductwork, bollards (x2) etc. f. Coordinate installation of all new/reused ductwork with existing conditions. g. Reconnect to existing welding hoods. h. Provide necessary lintels at all penetrations c/w thimbles. Bidders shall note that a 50% performance bond and 50% Material & Labour Bond, costs for which shall be included in bid price.
