The construction of the High Plains Community Center Storage Addition . The successful bidder will be expected to complete the work during the performance period beginning immediately upon award, anticipated to be October 10, 2024 . The project is located at the High Plains Community Center at 100 5th Ave. SW, Killdeer, ND. All bids and proposals for the construction of this contract project shall contain a statement that the bidder contractor and subcontractors are duly and regularly licensed under the laws of the State of North Dakota and the number and class of such license shall appear on such bid. No contract shall be awarded to any contractor unless he is the holder of a license in the class within which the value of the project shall fall, pursuant to State and Local requirements. Each bid must be accompanied by bid security in the form of a certified check, cashier s check, bank money order, or a bank draft, or bid bond payable to Dunn County Fair Association for five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid. Each bidder must expressly covenant in their bid that if the bidder shall be awarded the contract the bidder will, within (30) days of the award, enter into a formal contract with Dunn County Fair Association . The successful bidder shall furnish an approved performance bond and a labor and material payment bond, each in an amount equal to 100 percent (100%) of the contract amount. Insurance is required to be provided by the successful bidder and a certificate of insurance shall be provided. The bonding company used must be on the Federal Treasury listing. If the successful bidder fails or refuses to enter into such contract or to provide the necessary bonds or insurance as stated above, the five percent (5%) bid security shall be forfeited. Dunn County Fair Association s Board of Directors reserves the right to reject any or all bids received, to waive informalities, to postpone the award of the contract for a period of time not to exceed thirty (30) days, and to accept the lowest responsible bid which is in the best interest of Dunn County Fair Association .
