Basis for Award The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder meeting the specifications and complying with all the provisions of this solicitation. Because curriculum is based on certain machinery, all units bid are to be as specified - NO substitutions. Bid awards may be on an individual or aggregate basis, whichever is in the best interest of CCPS. All changes to the bid specifications will be made through the appropriate addenda. The addenda form shall be completed and returned with the bid proposal response. Failure to recognize the addenda (Section 5) may be reason for rejection of the bid. CCPS Purchasing Department will issue addenda to the bidders who are on record. It is, however, every bidders' responsibility to acquire all addenda. Pre-Bid Meeting and Site Visits There will be no pre-bid meeting or site visits for this bid. A mandatory duplicate hard copy is to be received no later than Wednesday, October 16, 2024. Failure to deliver a hard copy of the price proposal within the allotted time frame may result in the rejection of a bidder's proposal, even if the original price submittal was received on time. Ntent/scope It is the Intent of This Invitation to Bid to Establish a Contract to Furnish and Install Various Pieces of Equipment for the Machine Technology Program at Carroll County Career & Technology Center. County Public Schools, Herein Called Ccps, is Contracting for the Inside Delivery, Required Rigging, Uncrating, and Installation of Equipment as Stated in Section 3 - Specification. Because Curriculum is Based on the Machinery in Place, *no Substitutions*, in Accordance With the Attached Terms, Specifications, and General Conditions. The BOECC reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in bids received whenever such rejections or waivers are in the best interest of CCPS.
