The project site is located on County Road L between County Road 4 and County Road 5, in Merrick County, Nebraska. construction of one concrete box culvert, roadway grading and other related incidental work. The project is referred to as "Central City West, C-61(258)" and shall include all labor, materials, transportation and equipment required for the construction of: C-61(258) - triple 12' x 8' x 44' Concrete Box Culvert on a 20-degree skew (rhb) and other related incidental work. All Bid Proposals must be submitted on the forms furnished with the Bid Documents. Along with its Bid Proposal, each bidder shall submit an unconditional Bid Bond or Certified Check made payable to the County Treasurer of Merrick County, Nebraska, in an amount equal to five (5) percent of the Bid Proposal. Also, each bidder is to include an estimated completion date for each site with their Bid Proposal. The desired completion date for this site is June 1, 2025. The successful bidder (i.e. Contractor) will be allowed sixty-five (65) calendar days for completion after beginning work at the site, provided they do not exceed their specified completion date for this site. Additional days due to weather may be granted at the discretion of the Engineer. Within ten (10) days following the award of the Contract, the successful bidder shall furnish a surety bond or bonds in an amount equal to or greater than the full amount of the contract. The surety and form of the bonds are subject to the acceptance by the Merrick County Board of Supervisors. The Merrick County Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any irregularities in bids received.
