Kitsap Transit is soliciting bids for the installation of ADA push button devices on three doors at in the garage of its 60 Washington Ave, Bremerton, location. The project entails purchase and installation of push button ADA door components for three doors located at Kitsap Transit's headquarters. Vendors must then test the doors for correct manual and automatic function. Question Deadline 10/11/2024 at 5:00 PM PT Point of Contact: michaelri@kitsaptransit.com All questions, requests for information, and Pre-Bid material substitutions, must be submitted in writing and received The project entails ensuring that the doors can be opened manually or automatically through an ADA push button devices Scope of Services The Work Site is location at: Harborside Building 60 Washington Ave Bremerton, WA 98337 Push Button Device Installation: A. Procure and install ADA-compliant push button devices on designated ADA doors. 1. Please see Exhibit A for photo's of doors where ADA buttons need to be installed B. Ensure compatibility with both manual and automatic door operation modes. Testing and Commissioning: A. Conduct comprehensive testing of push button devices B. Verify proper operation of push button controls in both manual and automatic modes. C. Provide training to Kitsap Transit staff on operating the new push button devices Additional Information: A. Balance Magnetic Switches may be used in lieu of Time Delay Relays B. While exposed conduit can be installed, it must be painted to match C. ADA activation buttons may be wall mounted D. Deactivation pivots on the floor may be installed E. Work can be completed during business hours (8am - 4pm M-F). Documentation: A. Provide detailed documentation including installation manuals, operation guides, and maintenance procedures for the push button devices. B. Furnish information on warranty coverage for all installed components.
